Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain and force your teeth to shift out of place. Dentists often recommend teens and adults to our practice for the extraction of wisdom teeth. Dr. Austin gently and precisely removes the teeth in a timely manner and focuses on minimizing post-operative discomfort.
Dental Implant Placement
Dental implants are modern dentistry's best solution for missing teeth, but most dentists are not qualified to place them. As a board-certified oral surgeon, Dr. Austin can handle all the surgical aspects of this treatment. Our office can coordinate with your regular dentist to make sure you receive excellent continuity of care.
Bone Grafting
Some patients don't initially qualify for dental implants because they lack sufficient tissue density in their jawbone. Dr. Austin can perform a bone grafting procedure that transplants healthy tissue into the jawbone and restores your candidacy for dental implant surgery.
Tooth Extraction
There are many reasons to choose an oral surgeon rather than a general dentist for tooth extractions. If you have a tooth that requires removal for any reason, Dr. Austin can perform the extraction so that there is a minimal effect on your jaw and surrounding teeth. He can also pair the extraction with a bone grafting procedure or implant placement so you won't have an incomplete smile for too long.
Sedation Dentistry
IV sedation dulls your senses so that you stay calm and relaxed during the procedure while remaining cooperative with the oral surgeon's directions. Most patients who choose sedation dentistry have little memory of their oral or maxillofacial surgery once it is complete.

We went to Dr Austin for a second opinion after my daughter had a major anxiety attack just hearing what the other oral surgeon was going to do. My daughter has never had any sort of sedation and the concept of being sedated scared her terribly. Both my son and daughter needed their wisdom removed. They both had very different needs and personalities. Dr Austin and his staff were AMAZING at meeting each of their individual needs. They adapted to each of them and respected their needs and desires. They truly make their patients important. Beyond that Dr Austin has excellent skills. He is very skilled in the latest least invasive procedures. I greatly recommend them.

Dr. Austin and his staff are just amazing. My youngest son had 2 wisdom pop through over the weekend and we were able to get them removed this week. My son was very nervous beforehand and they knew what to do. He ended up removing all 4 in less than 15 minutes. That blew my mind. His nurse was very kind and friendly and very thorough about the procedure and what to do/expect after the removal and when the sedation wears off. Dr. Austin was just as nice. I have never used them before but I am so glad that Brigham City has this kind of Doctor in town now. I highly recommend them for any mouth or face surgery. My other son will be getting his wisdom teeth removed in a few weeks.
